Half a billion slashed from Environmental Protection Agency: Here's what you can do!

Last month, the US House of Representatives passed legislation to slash the EPA’s budget by $500 million. Now the Senate is moving to consider the same cuts and needs to hear from you!

2017 has seen some of the most devastating climate-related natural disasters our country has ever seen, and yet extremists in Congress are doing everything they can to undermine the EPA’s ability to address the health and environmental impacts of these catastrophic disasters.

It’s irresponsible, dangerous, and downright deadly to ignore the fact that man-made climate change is threatening our planet. And slashing EPA funding at this crucial moment is reprehensible.

From appointing a climate-change denier as the head of the EPA to Congressional efforts to defund the agency completely, it’s clear that this administration’s priorities are not with us and protecting our environment.

President Trump has made his agenda clear, and he has the pro-polluter majority in the House. Now the Senate is our last chance to save the EPA from these unprecedented budget cuts!

Take a stand and don’t let the Senate gut EPA funding during this critical time to act on climate change >>

Look, we depend on the EPA to measure the consequence of natural disasters, research hazards, and take action against future climate change. But without critical funding to programs that assess public health impacts from natural disasters, to help clean up pollution, and monitor life-threatening bacteria flooding our waterways, the EPA’s ability to do its job is under direct attack.

Climate-fueled natural disasters threaten our lives, livelihoods, and infrastructure. And it will worsen if we undercut disaster response programs at the EPA as well as the agency's ability to cut the carbon pollution fueling this extreme weather.

We can’t wait, add your name to protect EPA funding now:
